This book was one that rivetted my attention! It was well written and researched. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. I give this book 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, the characters are really well developed and well written. Great story, it kept me up later than I planned because I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. Only negative I can think of is that I wold have liked a little more background on the antagonist. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

Totally awesome detective/crime novel. Slow peeling back of clues in a cold case until the story reaches an exciting climax at the end. Excellent read.

CJ Booth has an amazing story telling voice that catapults the reader into the mind and life's of the characters. The very story of OLIVE PARK is fascinating, and even the writing had been in bulletin form, I would have kept reading. The combination of a gut twisting plot and heart wrenching characters was almost too much to handle in a single seating, but as soon as I entered the world of M and the OID, I couldn't leave it alone.

To put simply, it is a thrilling read, captivating even.

I'm sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the next thing to come, whether it's a rope from the past or another tale to keep me company late into the night.
